Samarkand: Routes to Riches*

Players take on the role of merchant families in Samarkand, marrying into wealthy trading families and expanding their trade routes. Each round, they can either marry into a trade family or expand an existing family's trade route by paying the necessary costs. The game ends when all families have established at least one trade relationship, and players tally their victory points from trade goods and relationships to determine the winner.
