De Vulgari Eloquentia: Deluxe Edition^*

Italy, Late Middle Ages: Cloth merchants must write their contracts in a language everyone understands. The educated seek an alternative to the elite language of Latin, leading to the rise of Volgare, the common people's language.

Players contribute to creating this new language while striving to uncover the mysteries of manuscripts and improve their social status. The goal is to earn Volgare points by reading manuscripts and enhancing one's position in society, all while navigating the influences of bankers, monks, and the church. This newly redesigned edition features fresh mechanisms, elements, and a completely new layout.
