Forest Shuffle: Dartmoor*
Forest Shuffle: Dartmoor is a standalone game within the Forest Shuffle family that sends players into a brand-new habitat where they compete to build the most valuable forest. You lay out trees, shrubs, and now also terrain cards, then attract animal and plant species to create an ecologically balanced environment. For fans of accessible card-laying games with a nature theme, it is an attractive, self-contained entry point.
New to Dartmoor are horizontally played terrain cards such as bog and peat areas, where only certain species can settle above and below them, along with caves drafted at the start that give asymmetric starting conditions. On your turn you either draw two cards or play a card by discarding others to pay its cost; in the end, the highest score wins. The familiar Forest Shuffle mechanism remains unchanged.
