Moirai is a compact card game for two to four players aged 10 and up. It centres on the three Fates of Greek mythology, and in 20 to 30 minutes you weave a loom of human destinies out of cards.

What is it about?

The Moirai, known in English as the Three Fates, have set their spinning wheel in motion. Clotho spins the thread of life. Lachesis measures its length. Atropos decides when to cut it. Following their will, you lay out card after card into your own loom, trying to weave the three goddesses' patterns as cleverly as you can.

How a turn works

1. Choose: take a single face-up card, or scoop up a whole discard pile at once.
2. Add everything you took into your loom.
3. Play passes around until the draw pile runs out.

At game end, the scoring criteria on the Clotho, Lachesis and Atropos cards decide your points. Whoever wove their cards most cleverly comes out ahead.
