Nucleum*
Nucleum is a heavy euro-style strategy game that casts players as industrialists in 19th-century Saxony, in the middle of an economic and technological boom built around a fictional early form of nuclear power. The goal is to expand your own network, supply cities with energy, and stay ahead in the race for progress. For fans of heavy engine- and network-building games with tightly interlocking systems, it offers a dense, demanding experience.
Victory points come from developing power and rail networks, building and powering urban buildings, securing contracts, and meeting variable endgame milestones. Each player wields unique asymmetric technologies that grant special powers, and play flows continuously turn by turn with no fixed rounds or phases. This is a connoisseur game aimed at experienced gamers.
