In Rock Hard: 1977 you play an up-and-coming musician living through the year 1977: rehearsing, playing gigs, writing songs and promoting your band to become the best new artist of the year. A thematic worker-placement game for 2 to 5 players.
The game runs over a maximum of nine rounds, each representing a typical day in one month from April to December 1977. You raise your reputation, chops and song repertoire, land record deals and royalties, play concerts and hang out at the hottest spots. Whoever accumulates the most fame wins. Designed by Jackie Fox, former member of the rock band The Runaways. Playing time about 45 to 90 minutes, ages 14 and up.
