Players represent mining companies that drill into the earth to gather resources. Cooperation with other players is often necessary, as each player moves four drills across the planet’s layers to successfully set up mines and maximize resources. Glory points are earned by spending materials, completing objectives, and having majorities of materials and money at the end of the game.

The goal is to acquire the most glory points by achieving milestones, making investments, and securing majorities after the game. The game consists of three phases, which are repeated until one of the endgame conditions is met. Players use vice presidents to perform actions, participate in market transactions to buy or sell resources, and make investments to enhance their drilling operations and earn glory points.
