Sails of Glory is a series of games that simulate naval combat during the Age of Sail (1650-1815). Players secretly choose maneuver cards, revealing them simultaneously, and must align arrows from the cards in front of their miniatures to determine movement. The system has been refined to accurately depict battles between large sailing ships, starting in the Napoleonic era, with potential expansions into other historical periods if successful.
