Ticket to Ride: Europe invites you to embark on an exhilarating train adventure through the heart of Europe. From the historic streets of Edinburgh to the vibrant city of Constantinople, and from the sunny shores of Lisbon to the grandeur of Moscow, you'll traverse the great cities of turn-of-the-century Europe. Whether you're a seasoned gamer or a family looking for a fun challenge, this game, like the original Ticket to Ride, offers an elegantly simple gameplay experience that can be mastered in just five minutes.
Explore New Gameplay Elements
This edition of Ticket to Ride introduces exciting new gameplay elements that add depth and strategy to the classic formula. Tunnels present a challenge, requiring players to expend extra cards to construct routes through them. Ferries demand the use of locomotive cards to claim them, offering a unique twist to your journey. Stations provide an intriguing option, allowing you to sacrifice a few points to utilize an opponent's route, connecting your own network of destinations.
Connect Cities and Collect Points
While the map and gameplay have evolved, the core goal remains unchanged: collect and play train cards to lay your claim to railway routes, all while striving to connect cities listed on your ticket cards. Points are earned not only for placing trains and completing tickets but also for strategic maneuvering on the board. However, beware of uncompleted tickets, as they will deduct points from your score. In the end, the player with the highest total points emerges victorious.
Discover Europe Anew
Ticket to Ride: Europe is a complete and standalone game, offering a fresh experience that doesn't require ownership of the original version. With larger format cards and Train Station game pieces, this edition immerses you in the sights and sounds of a bygone era, where the rails of Europe await your adventure. Explore, strategize, and compete to become the ultimate rail baron in this captivating addition to the Ticket to Ride series.
