Tinderblox is a dexterity game in a mint tin: using tweezers you stack logs and embers onto a campfire – drop anything and you are out as a fire hazard. For 2 to 6 players aged 6 and up, 3 to 15 minutes.
How it plays
On your turn you draw a card from the campfire deck. It shows what to stack and how: a log flat, a log upright, an ember on top or a combination – all with tweezers only. If the tower topples or a piece falls, you are eliminated. The last player standing has been the most careful with fire.
Who is it for?
Families, parties and travel – the tin is barely bigger than a pack of mints. Gamers and non-gamers are equally good at it, and a round rarely lasts longer than ten minutes.
