The interactive nature of the game ensures there is no downtime, as both players roll dice for combat in every battle. Each player starts with cards representing pre-war supplies and must manage limited resources while planning for significant offensives throughout the campaign from 1914 to 1918. Various scenarios highlight historical plans and operations.
