Two to five players compete to have the highest-valued train after a set number of rounds. Each round, the first player draws a wagon card, adds it to their train, and passes their remaining hand to the left. New locomotives must match the resource type or value of the previous one played, but players can use a hidden card as a wild, adding strategic twists to the game. Yardmaster Express is quick to play, wrapping up in ten minutes with just 32 cards.
