Die Macher^*

Die Macher is a political strategy game for 3 to 5 players. You lead a national party through seven regional elections across Germany, and the party with the most victory points wins.

How You Score

1. Regional elections award one to eighty points, based on the region's size and your result.
2. Media influence adds points when you win a region where you control the press.
3. Party membership grows over the game and pays out steadily.
4. Party platform scores a bonus when it matches national opinion at the end.

• The 1986 edition featured four West German parties for three to four players.
