Durian^*

Durian is a bluffing and push-your-luck game from Oink Games: as clerks in a jungle fruit shop you take orders without knowing the stock – and whoever rings for the gorilla manager wrongly or oversells collects penalty points. For 2 to 7 players aged 7 and up, about 20 minutes.

How it plays

Each player holds a stock card facing outwards: everyone sees the others' inventory but not their own. In turn you play order cards, raising the total amount of fruit demanded. If you believe the total exceeds the combined stock, you ring the bell – the gorilla storms in and checks. If you were right you are safe; if wrong you take penalty points. Three gorilla siblings add extra chaos.
