The best games of the Ascension series⎇. 2025

You have already played many rounds of the deck builder "Ascension" and need new fodder? We've compared and listed the best Ascension variants⎇.

What is Ascension anyway?

The Ascension series was designed by a team of Magic: The Gathering professionals - with a desire for faster build and deck-building elements.

What makes Ascension different from other deck-builders?

The game is similar to other deck-building, where the player adds cards to his deck by buying them from a central deck, where the top six cards are revealed and available for purchase. When cards are removed, they are replaced with a new card from the top of the deck. Victory points are awarded in three ways: first, each card purchased is worth one or more victory points; second, victory points can be gained by defeating monsters with a power resource depicted on several of the cards; and third, some cards earn victory points directly each time they are played.
