Qwixx: Connected features two new score pads that slightly alter the standard gameplay. Players mark numbers on their score sheets using two white dice and colored dice, aiming to mark as many numbers as possible in sequential order. The game ends when a player marks four penalty boxes or a second color is locked, and the player with the highest score wins.

Players aim to strike out numbers in four colored rows using cards instead of dice, adding a strategic layer to the game. Each player has a score sheet with numbers ranging from 2-12 in red and yellow, and 12-2 in green and blue. Players draw from a set of cards and play them to mark off numbers, with the game's end triggered when a player locks two colors or marks four penalty boxes.

Qwixx: Characters is a mini-expansion that includes five character tiles, each with a special power. Players can transform a missed turn into a marked space, rewind and fill a missed space, or use the white die twice.
