Nero: Legacy of a Despot*

Players compete for imperial power by using legions and political influence to either conquer the empire and declare themselves emperor or accumulate enough land and power to do so by the end of the game. Strategic play is essential, as players must quickly respond to unfolding events and create opportunities through well-timed use of event cards like assassins, bribery, and various crises. The game features a large board of Europe and the Mediterranean, numerous colorful game pieces, high-quality cards, and supports gameplay without dice, relying instead on the card set for movement, combat, and events.
