In Rear Window, one player takes the role of Alfred Hitchcock and silently feeds the others clues about a possible murder.

What's it about?

The game draws on Hitchcock's film classic. You watch the windows across the courtyard and read the odd signs. There are parties, knives, a saw, bickering, music and a mysterious trunk. Is a murder happening? Or is your mind playing tricks?

How it plays

  1. One player is Hitchcock and knows the answer.
  2. Through the building windows, they give signs without a word.
  3. The others read the clues and talk it over.
  4. Across four rounds they must pin down eight traits of the killer.

What to expect

  • A cooperative deduction game for 3 to 5 players
  • Silent communication only through pictures and signs
  • A thick mystery mood drawn from Hitchcock's film

Who is it for?

Mystery and film fans who like to puzzle together will enjoy it. It plays best with three. Ages 13 and up, about 40 minutes per game.
