Savernake Forest^*

Savernake Forest is a light tile-laying and drafting game for 2 to 4 players ages 10 and up. In 20 to 40 minutes you build your own corner of the woodland and make sure every animal gathers its favourite food before winter sets in.

What's it about?

Autumn is ending, and the forest creatures are stocking up for the cold months. Each player holds an animal card with its own tastes: the fox loves eggs but turns up its nose at berries and nuts. Up to 23 different animals share the wood, from badgers and beavers to owls and woodpeckers.

How it plays

You draft cards from two decks, one of animals and one of food-laden paths, and add them to your growing forest. Lay the paths so each animal can collect as much of its preferred food as possible, and the points pile up.
