The game features a familiar principle for those who have played similar titles, but with some modifications. One player takes the role of the attacker, trying to breach the defender's walls by forming troops with cards at seven locations on the battlefield. Each location can hold 2-4 cards, with the strongest formation typically claiming that spot, determined by poker-like hands created as players take turns playing their cards. The defender can use three oil tiles to clear the attacker's cards, and the deck includes cards numbered 0-11 in five colors along with ten tactical cards.
