Stonespine Architects^*

Stonespine Architects is a card-drafting game in which you, a minotaur architect, carve the most perilous labyrinth into the base of the Stonespine Mountains. For 1 to 5 players aged 10 and up, 45 to 60 minutes.

How it plays

Over four "years" you simultaneously pick cards from a hand, pass the rest on and place the chosen chambers into your dungeon – each a puzzle piece whose passages should connect. A personal blueprint and changing scoring goals tell you where traps, monsters and treasure earn the most. Between rounds you spend gold on upgrades and secret passages. Whoever presents the most dangerous labyrinth at the end becomes Master Architect.

Who is it for?

Fans of 7 Wonders and Sushi Go who want a more thematic draft game with a spatial puzzle. Simultaneous turns keep it brisk even with five players, and the solo mode works as a quick brain-teaser.
