The board game company "moses. Verlag GmbH" was founded by Jürgen Pankarz in 1991. The current company headquarters is in Kempen on the Lower Rhine, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany🇩🇪. The debut work from moses Verlag was "Pocket Quiz". The game publisher is also known as "Moses Spieleverlag", "Moses Verlag" or simply "moses".

The Moses publishing house began as a children's book publisher for children eager to discover new things. The publishing house achieved its first major success with the famous Becherlupe.
