Small German game publisher

Queen Games was founded in 1992 by Rajive Gupta in Troisdorf near Cologne/Bonn. Initially Queen Games bought publishing rights or licenses for the German market. The first popular products were the pen & paper role-playing games Middle-Earth-Roleplaying-Game (MERG), Rolemaster or Cthulhu. In the meantime, mainly own board games are published.

In 2014, Queen Games was acquired by the Asmodée Group.

Queen Games games have been on the nomination lists for both the Deutscher Spielepreis and the Spiel des Jahres several times. Winners have been Alhambra (SdJ 2003), Kingdom Builder (SdJ 2012) & Fresco (DSP 2010).
