It all started with expansions for Bohnanza

In 2000, Rosenberg in particular was already known for his card game Bohnanza, which was published by a major German game publisher. Lookout Games' first own game was a small card game called Attribute. The game was originally published online on the gaming website Brettspielwelt. Later, the company began producing physical copies of the game. In 2003, Attribut was shortlisted for the "Spiel des Jahres Award 2003" award. In 2007, the board game Agricola was released – then in 2008, Agricola received the special prize Complex Game at the Spiel des Jahres 2008 and the first place at the Deutscher Spielepreis 2008. Agricola became one of the highest rated games on the board game website Boardgamegeek. In 2008, its successor Le Havre was released.
