After defeating the dragon, new and exciting adventures await the heroes of Andor. They rebuild the burned-down farms with the help of people from the West and encounter Arbaks, the Andorian spirits of the forest. Soon, they face powerful, unknown enemies, including an ice demon, an ancient earth spirit, and the chief of the Skrale, while uncovering a long-guarded secret within the Grey Mountains. The expansion features three new legends, starting with a pivotal moment on the Cave Mine map.

A new map of the northern region of Andor features in this major expansion, along with new legends and additional content. After years of peace, the heroes respond to a distress call from Far Hadria and embark on a perilous journey north. They travel aboard an old sailing ship to strange islands, battling dreadful sea monsters and facing the raging storms and unleashed power of the ocean.

Players take on new challenges in this first expansion, searching for the Star Shield after defeating the dragon. This powerful artifact could be both a blessing and a curse if it falls into the wrong hands. Additionally, hungry wolves have been spotted on their journey, but if the players can tame the alpha wolf, the pack will become loyal allies in their fight against a resurgent evil.

Four new heroes join the adventure, usable with the base game or the expansion. New rules allow gameplay for up to six players, along with new creature boards to enhance creature strength during play. Additionally, the "Brother Shield" lets a hero swap powers with another hero on the board and can also function as a normal shield.

The Bonus Box celebrates the fifth anniversary of the game and includes new legends and bonus materials for use with the base game, along with a soundtrack CD. It can also be played with up to six players when combined with the expansions featuring new or dark heroes.

Upon returning from the far north, the heroes find a devastated Andor that has been conquered by the Krahder from the south and their skeletal army. Many Andorians have been enslaved or taken away. The heroes serve as the last hope for the kingdom, facing new legends and exploring a new map of southern Andor in this standalone game that continues the story.

Legends of Andor: Dark Heroes is an expansion that introduces four new hero boards, along with dice, cards, and standees. Players can now experience the final chapter of the Andor story with up to six heroes at once.
