Alderac Entertainment Group (AEG) is a publisher of board, card and dice games. Before entering their current markets, AEG was involved in hobby game magazines, with their first product, "Shadis" magazine (winner of the 1994, 1995 and 1996 Origins Awards for Best Professional Game Magazine).

AEG published "Legend of the Five Rings" and related CCG and RPG series for 15 years.

In 2009, AEG entered the board game market with 10 new board game releases. Thunderstone was a notable success from this wave of releases. Nightfall, an aggressive head-to-head deckbuilding game, debuted in 2011 with chaining mechanics developed with the help of BGG users.

In 2012, AEG released a widely praised revision of Thunderstone known as Thunderstone Advance. Later that year, they released the Smash Up series, the card game for shuffling card sets, and a new series of Euro games set in the shared world of Tempest - Dominare, Mercante and Courtier.
