What is the UK Games Expo Awards?

The "UK Games Expo Awards" is an award for dice, card & board games. The award originates from 🇬🇧UK, was launched in 2007 and is voted for by a panel of judges & an audience.

The Expo Awards were developed and launched at the UK Games Expo in 2007 to recognize the achievements of manufacturers and publishers across a wide range of game genres. The winner in each category is determined by a combined system of a public vote and the opinion of a panel of judges.

First, all games will be judged by a panel of judges selected by UK Games Expo. As part of this process, if there are more than 3 entries, shortlists of the best games in each category will be created. The shortlists are selected according to the judges' scores and are usually published in May.

At the UK Games Expo, one of these 3 games is chosen by the judges as the winner. All games on the shortlist are eligible for a public vote at Virtually Expo to become the Peoples Choice Award winner.

Both the Jury Award and the Public Choice Award are usually announced in June.
