Michael Kiesling has been designing dice, card & board games since 1995. The game designer hails from Bremen, Germany🇩🇪, was born in 1957 and currently lives in Bremen, Germany🇩🇪.

Kiesling's first game "Familie Mogelei" he developed in 1995 at the age of 38 - so he has been designing games for over 30 years. Famous Kiesling games are for example Azul, Tikal & Torres.

Actually a software developer

Kiesling worked at Deutsche Telekom for eleven years. In 1986, he began studying electrical and automation engineering in Bremen on the second educational path. In 1989, he graduated with a degree in engineering. Mainly he works as a software developer.

Own game publishing house is closed again after a few weeks in 1995

He founded the game publishing house "1 × 1 Games" in 1995, but had to close it after only a few weeks.

Mainly known through cooperation with Wolfgang Kramer

In the board game world, Kiesling is known and recognized mainly through his cooperation with his friend Wolfgang Kramer. He has developed most of the games together with Kramer since 1995. However, this cooperation happens almost exclusively by telephone and e-mail. Small anecdote: The two game designers saw each other only once at the Game Fair in Essen 1997 and had never played a game together at the same table until then.
