Who is Andreas Seyfarth anyway?

Andreas Seyfarth has been designing dice, card & board games since 1991. The game designer comes from Munich, Bavaria, Germany🇩🇪, was born in 1962 and currently lives in Hoehenkirchen, Bavaria, Germany🇩🇪. His wife Karin also comes from the games industry.

Seyfarth's first games were "Max und Moritz" (together with his wife) & "Zorro: The Fight against Alcalde". He developed them in 1991 at the age of 29 - making him a game developer for over 33. Famous Seyfarth games include Puerto Rico, San Juan & Thurn und Taxis.

Wife worked at Schmidt Spiele

Seyfarth does not work as a game developer as his main profession - but through the work of his wife at Schmidt Spiele he came into contact with the subject again and again. In 1991, together with her, he finally developed the card game "Max und Moritz" and "Zorro: The Fight against Alcalde". Seyfarth's wife is almost always a game tester and usually co-author. She is also co-author of the game's first big success and Spiel des Jahres Award 2006 winner Thurn and Taxis. In 2001, after a longer creative break, the again very successful Puerto Rico was published. In 2014, his last real game was published San Juan.

Seyfarth works as a financial controller at Deutsche Telekom.
