Who is Luke Laurie?

Luke Laurie is a US game designer from Santa Maria, California, who was a science teacher before focusing entirely on game design. His debut Stones of Fate (2015) ran independently via Kickstarter; his breakthrough came with the worker-placement strategy game The Manhattan Project: Energy Empire (2016, Minion Games), on which he collaborated with Tom Jolly. Since then Laurie has designed Cryo, Whistle Mountain, Dwellings of Eldervale, and the follow-up Andromeda's Edge, the latter co-designed with Peter Vaughan and published under their Cardboard Alchemy label.
