Who is Martin Wallace anyway?
Martin Wallace has been designing dice, card & board games since 1993. The game designer hails from Southampton🏴, UK🇬🇧, was born in 1962 and currently lives in Australien 🇦🇺.
Wallace's first game "Lords of Creation" he developed in 1993 at the age of 31 - so he has been designing games for over 32 years. Famous Wallace games are for example Age of Steam, Brass: Birmingham & Lancashire, .
First employed, then founded several game publishers.
Wallace first worked at Games Workshop for a while, and then began developing games in earnest in the early 1990s, his first game being Lords of Creation. Eventually, German companies picked up some of his games, such as Und Tschüss, Volldampf, and Tempus. He has also published a number of games through his own company Warfrog/Treefrog. These include titles such as Struggle of Empires, Princes of the Renaissance, and "Age of Steam. Wallace has been a full-time game publisher and designer ever since.
Currently - after a bit of a hiatus as a game developer - he has started a new company: Wallace Designs.
