Reiner Knizia has been designing dice, card & board games since 1990. The game designer hails from Deutschland🇩🇪, was born in 1957.

Reiner Knizia is a full-time game designer who lived in England for many years. He has a PhD in mathematics and previously worked in the banking industry.

Knizia's first game Goldrausch/Gold Digger he developed in 1990 at the age of 33 - so he has been designing games for over 36 years. Famous Knizia games are for example Ra, Whoowasit?, Tigris & Euphrates.
