Who is Stefan Dorra anyway?
Stefan Dorra has been designing dice, card & board games since 1992. The game designer hails from Soltau, Lower Saxony, Germany🇩🇪, was born in 1958 and currently lives in Hildesheim, Lower Saxony, Germany🇩🇪 .
Dorra's first game "Razzia" made it straight to the 1992 Game of the Year shortlist. Hedeveloped in 1992 at the age of 34 - so he has been designing games for over 33 years. Famous Dorra games are for example For Sale, Turn the Tide & Medina.
Study & pedagogue at special school
Stefan Dorra studied and works as a speech therapist/logopedist at a special school with physically disabled students. He invents card, board and children's games on the side.
Cooperative & Internationally Recognized
Dorra has now designed over 50 board games - most of which have also appeared abroad. Many of his games were created in cooperation with other game designers. With Manfred Reindl, for example, he develops many new children's games. The cooperation with Ralf zur Linde, on the other hand, led to more complex games.
