The family-run board game company "ABACUSSPIELE" was founded by Josef Nikisch & Matthias Senke in 1989. The current company headquarters is in Dreieich, Hesse, Germany🇩🇪. ABACUSSPIELE's debut work was "Pirate Billiards". The game publisher is also known as "Abacus".

Sustainable production in Germany

The games almost exclusively produced in Germany. Plastic parts are rarely used as playing material. Instead, mainly wooden parts and cardboard boxes from sustainable production are used.
