JAB is a strategic boxing card game focused on skill. Players have direct control over their boxer's punches, aiming for a knockout or winning more rounds by impressing the judges with technique. This is a set of six games previously published in Dragon Magazine, now collected in a box with improved components, cards, and game aids. The games include Ringside, Food Fight, File 13, The Baton Races of Yaz, King's Table, and a modified version of The Search for the Emperor's Treasure, which features an altered encounter mix, new treasure clue cards, and expanded character options. The updated map encourages more movement and changes gameplay dynamics significantly.

Players assume the role of boxing managers with a stable of two fighters: a lightweight and a heavyweight. Each round, a rested fighter challenges an opponent, using four of twelve combat cards to compete in a three-round match. The challenges continue until there are not enough cards left for another fight, and the manager with the most money from victories and bets wins the game.
